After the bulk of my project was finished and it was time to review, clean up, and finalise. I went in with the fade tool to bring in my instruments, particularly at the beginning of the first A section. I listened through my piece multiple times with overhead headphones to get the full sonic experience with the added effects.
I opted for headphones specifically because of the difference in the speakers, the speakers of the iMac I was working on didn’t compare to the dynamic range of the headphones, as they allowed me to listen to the subs and effects with greater clarity.
