Crafting Tracks and Structure

Starting with the A section of the track, I chose to make it an 8 bar theme with my lead synth melody in C major.

In my B section, I spent a lot of time adjusting my chords and my melody to try and fit them together, but I kept coming across the issue of the sounds clashing. I opted to have a dropout in my B section (drums and lead synth) to add some variation to the track and this decision ended up remedying multiple issues. My next idea was to add a different chord progression in the relative minor keys.

To build my track into its finale, I added a C section before the final sequence. After, I copied all of my sections and pasted them to ensure I met the three minute mark. These sections have an 8 bar intro and play out with the static underpinning the start and finish.
